If a burger, fries and a craft beer sounds like the perfect way to celebrate the year with your team, then meet at the Highlander – it’s the premier meeting spot andthe friendly heart of Port Alfred. We offer a range of craft beers with two especially brewed for the pub, direct from The Little Brewery by the River. Our Highlander Lager & Lite are some of the favourites ordered and many a patron will recommend the Eisbein, Highlander Burger or the fiery Kamikaze Fries.
The Highlander serves meals from noon till 21:30 each day of the week

Our signature restaurant offers guests an elegant dining experience and, the special wine pairing evenings are not to be missed. Experience relaxed sophistication at The Thistle Restaurant and opt for the A la Carte menu, or a menu chosen specifically for your function. The combination of an elegant atmosphere with excellent cuisine and superlative service will leave your team feeling utterly indulged.
